This luxury walk out basement home is set on the beautiful Ashtabula River with access to 3,000 feet of river to the east and west with several access points to the water. This 1400 square foot space has all the amenities. Enjoy our new hanging swings and outdoor fireplace! We now have a new hot tub that seats 7 guests. We recently built a new private observation deck overlooking the river!brbrPlease note: The main house upstairs is the owners residence and will be occupied by the them most of the time. We do have 3 small dogs in a fenced in area. They are very friendly. Your pets and service support pets are always welcome. No fee for pets. We are now required to charge a bed tax which is added to the final fee as a percentage. Your lower level home is completely private, locked and secure. We do not share any spaces except possibly outdoor in the garage parking lot area and river. We have a backup generator in case of power outage and we always plow the snow in winter. brbrWe are located not far from the highway, only minutes from the famous Smolen-Gulf covered bridge/Indian trails park and Brants apple orchard. Not far from Geneva on the Lake and SPIRE institute. Close to the Harbor, Walnut Beach and Lake Shore Park. See the magnificent Lake Erie with boating and fishing access. Visit our local wineries and enjoy downtown shopping. See the local museums, covered bridges and historical sites. The cabin is a 3- year- old Amish built log cabin that features an open floor plan and includes two bedrooms and one full bath.brbrThe cabin is housed within a community of other cabins and is located next door to the Saybrook Park and sits along Lake Erie. While the cabin does not have lake views from the front porch, guest do have access to a private beach along the lake.brbrThe cabin is a 5 minutes drive from the heart of Geneva-on- the-Lake. brbrWe also own another cabin within the cabin community. If you have a party larger than 4 people, ask us about the availability of the other cabin and we can assist you in booking both cabins! brbrThe space:brTwo-bed, one-bath cabin with a porch, fire pit and located in a cabin community on the lake. The view of the lake, from the beach access, is to die for. From the front porch, enter into the open-concept family room/kitchen featuring hardwood floors throughout, stainless steel appliances, vaulted ceilings, etc. Two smart TVs and wifi. Guests have access to the Saybrook park featuring a playground, swings, volleyball, walking path, pavilion, and more!brbrNo smoking. Small dogs allowed. brbrGuest access: brGuests have complete access to the entire cabin, with the exception of the loft and shed (where we store our personal items). Due to the lack of stair access and due to an abundance of caution, we are restricting access to the loft that is only accessible via a ladder.brbrOther things to note: brIndividuals making reservations must be at least 25 years old.brbrTerms of the Agreement:brThe owner/designee has the right to inspect the premises without prior notice at any time to enforce the terms of this agreement. Should the Tenants violate any of the terms of this agreement, the rental period shall be terminated immediately. The Tenants waive all rights to process if they fail to vacate the premises upon termination of the rental period. The Tenants shall vacate the premises at the expiration time and date of this agreement.

Beautiful, small, lakefront cottage modestly decorated in nautical theme, overlooking the lake. This is a quiet family friendly cottage. The spectacular sunsets sold us on this home, and we enjoy the nearby area, too. Situated amongst other weekend get-away homes, this is a fabulous spot to relax on the deck overlooking the grassy hill leading down to the water and watch the waves rolling in, the Great Lakes ships passing by on the horizon. brbrThis is also a lovely spot Ohio's beautiful Fall season. The area is filled with fall foliage, remarkably tasty wineries with farm to table restaurants, covered bridges, bike trails, and local festivals.brbrGeneva-on-the-Lake has a 1950's shopping strip-lined with amusement halls, putt-putt golf, waterslides, shops, and restaurants. We enjoy visiting Geneva State Park with its lodge, beach and marina, the wineries in the area, covered bridges, antique shops in Ashtabula Harbor, and incredible views as you drive along the lake. An hour to Erie, Pennsylvania, and an hour to downtown Cleveland, the area remains quiet, not overly built and commercialized. brbrYou can enjoy a full meal cooked in the ample kitchen (with full-size refrigerator and gas oven, plenty of kitchenware); cable tv in the living room with fireplace (fold-out couch for one person sleeping) with a sliding glass door leading to the deck overlooking Lake Erie. There is an enclosed porch with a cute tiki bar.brbrThe master bedroom features a king-size bed and dresser. The second bedroom features a trundle with a twin mattress bed on top, and a twin mattress below, dresser storage, and Roku TV. The garage is used for storage is not available to guests.brbrNewly installed air conditioning August 2022. There are also ceiling fans in most rooms that work nicely with the lake breeze coming in for those days the AC is not needed. brFree wireless and a landline for local calls only are included with your stay.brbrSwimming is available at Walnut Public beach about five minute drive from the cottage. There is also a nice beach, swimming, and picnic areas at the Geneva State Park. We do not have a dock, however, boating is available at local marinas and Geneva State Park.
