House is completely renovated and comes fully furnished and equipped with all the house hold equipment you could need. The house is tastefully decorated, very clean and tidy and very comfortable, with the downstairs staying cool during the day, and all the bedrooms having AC.brbrThe lounge is nicely finished with polished tile floors and 2 leather couches, a TV and large coffee table. In front of the house there is also an great outside morning coffee location on a comfy outdoors couch. brbrThe lounge moves through to the large quartz Island which functions as a breakfast island/dining table. You then move into the large fully equipped kitchen, which offers a electric range/oven, full sized French door fridge, microwave, 2 tub sink and plenty of counter space. brbrContinuing downstairs there is a backyard terrace off the kitchen that is nicely finished in stone and small grass area, with great shade under a prolific Abiu and Chocolate fruit trees - amazing, unusual tropical fruits, that maybe been in season during your stay. This terrace area, has both sun and shade and gives a relaxation spot during the day and evening. brbrThe master bedroom is on the 2nd floor room, and has a attached ensuite, with toilet shower and vanity. The room has high ceilings, with AC, An internet TV, ceiling fans, great natural light and is orientated to provide great cooling trade wind flows if you don’t feel like living in AC. The room has a spacious balcony which is great for relaxing out of the afternoon sun and has sublime sunrises and great distant views. The master bedroom has a large closet and is fully furnished and tastefully decorated featuring the original redwood walls refinished. The attached ensuite is luxurious Turkish travertine tile with the shower using a modern ceramic tile for durability. A comfortable memory foam queen bed finishes this room off.brbrThe 2nd bedroom also has higher ceilings, AC, great natural light, and provides plenty of space for you and your things with a large closet and chest of drawers. A desk is provided, and it has great views out its window to see mt Ka'ala, the highest point on the island. The room is fully furnished, including linens, bedding and beach towels.brbrThe 3rd Bedroom also offers, high ceilings, AC, great natural light and provides plenty of space. This bedroom also has a TV and is has nice distant views from its windows. brbrThe 2nd bathroom on the 2nd floor is modern and easy to use and maintain. With a large shower and freshly tiled walls and floor it is a delight to clean off in. Towels, basic toiletries, and shower/ cleaning products are provided.br brIn the front of the house there is a laundry which is shared with the other 2 studios attached to the townhouse, and a shaded grass area which is great for kids under producing lime trees. There is also an outside shower which is great for washing for the beach sand/salt or mud if you have been hiking.brbr1 off street parking is available on request, but this is a quiet area and most people just use the ample on street parking. The area is very safe with long time neighbors surrounding the location, and no theft that i have seen.brbrThe local quiet beach is a short 3-5min walk away, and does not get big waves so is good for swimming and kids. Due to the proximity of a river mouth, the water is not as clear as other locations, so I would recommend going to a different location for snorkeling.brbrThis place is set up for long or short term stays with everything provided. You’re in a mature residential neighborhood so it is not suitable for parties or events, and you will need to keep it calm especially after 9pm as its a quiet suburb and we don’t like annoying the neighbors.brbrThe place is ideal for family groups and extended family groups, we have toys and baby equipment available on request. Also, it is great for working professionals who would want to do 1 or 2 months of remote work here in Hawaii.brVery quiet peaceful neighbor hood, no traffic noise, quiet considerate neighbors, with plenty of on street parking.brbrThe beach is a 3-5 min walk away, and Haleiwa is a 10 minute cycle down a designated cycle path. brbrLots to do in the area, with excellent wave kiting at Mokuliea, good hiking, and nice snorkeling, surfing and other activities available. Haleiwa is a busy tourist town with plenty of amenities and tourist activities to choose from, sailing, shark cage diving, parachuting, horse riding etc.

Tropical North Shore Island Nature Retreat! 2.5 blocks to the beach & famous surf breaks. Close to historic Haleiwa town & many other gorgeous North Shore beaches & world-class surfing!brbrRental is a 2-Story Yurt with a generous 1500+ square foot open-concept floor plan. Sleeps up to 11 people. Features a kitchen & full bathroom amenities. The hot water in the bathroom is glitchy, sorry, but there is an additional outdoor shower available with hot water near the yurt. Some of the fabric windows on the yurt do not close properly and the windows do not have screens.brbrbrDescription brThis unique 1500 square foot glamping space features 2-stories of unique living space. The 4 bedroom open concept floor plan features 6 beds, a kitchen and a bathroom attached to the yurt, and a hot outdoor shower near the front of the yurt. The first story has the kitchen, living space with 2 pull-out memory foam sofa sleepers (one double and one queen), and a bedroom with a queen bed. The second story has 3 open-concept bedrooms, one with a queen bed, one with a full bed, and one with a twin bed and loveseat couch. The yurt can sleep up to 11 people. Please note that there are no doors to any of the open-concept bedrooms. The bedrooms just have partition walls with open walkways between the rooms (see pictures) and no bedroom doors. Please remember this is a yurt, so there is minimal framing, no drywall, and all rooms are connected & open, except for the bathroom which does have a door. No drywall on the walls means that electrical boxes and wires are exposed, which is why we disclose that this is an unsafe space for children & infants.brbrThis glamping yurt is located on a 2+ acre gated country estate with many mature fruit trees. You are welcome to eat from our orchards as long as you leave some fruit for others to enjoy, too. Located in a country setting with typical country sounds like dogs, roosters, road noise, and the sounds of big waves breaking during the winter! If there is an emergency, there will be sirens from the emergency vehicles, and the neighborhood dogs will howl and bark because the sirens hurt their ears, but once the sirens pass, they will stop.brbrThe property entrance is a large driveway gate that you will need to put a code into a padlock & manually push open and close behind you every time you enter & exit the property. There are other long-term tenants & dogs on the property.brbrThe hot water heater inside the attached yurt bathroom is a bit glitchy, sorry. It works, but needs to be reset often. The hot water is only available in the attached yurt bathroom. There is no hot water in the yurt kitchen. The hot water system is an on-demand outdoor camping propane heater, & the pilot light can be a bit finnicky. If the water does not stay hot or is not getting hot at all, please message the host immediately so we help you reset the heater & explain how to re-ignite the pilot light. There is also an outdoor shower near the laundry that has very hot water which you can use anytime. brbrThe yurt is older & has some issues. Most screens on the windows are ripped, broken, or missing altogether. Some of the windows also do not fully close, so rain can come in through the gaps. We have clips & clamps on the fabric windows to keep them shut. The windows do not have any glass: they are made of fabric with velcro closures, so they are safe. If rain comes in through the upstairs windows, it will affect both levels with rainwater coming inside. There is also an approximately 8 foot section where the roof leaks at the wall near the front door during heavy rain. It is important that you do not put anything in that area as it will get wet! This area is left empty on purpose, so do not put belongings there or move any yurt furniture or other items there. The front burner of the stove is faulty so we have included an electric hot plate for you to use in place of this problematic burner. brbrIf you are unfamiliar with a yurt, please note that this is a wooden deck structure with canvas fabric walls & roof. To access the second story, you will need to climb up and down a spiral staircase with narrow footspace on the steps, and it could be dangerous for children or adults with difficulty walking or climbing stairs. brbrThe yurt is not air-tight, so there is no air conditioning available. The space can heat up quickly during warm weather, during the afternoon on sunny days, & especially in the summer & fall months. The skylight dome at the top of the yurt creates a convection which pulls heat out the top of the yurt. In order for the hot air to go out the top, you will need to open all the windows to cool the yurt down. You must close all windows every time you leave the yur, though, because there is no awning or roof over them, & if it rains, water will come in the yurt and get everything inside the yurt wet. Once you return, simply open the windows & the skylight dome will pull all the hot air out the top & bring cool air up through the floor & windows! brbrBeing unsealed, there are spaces for geckos, lizards, flies, roaches, spiders, ants, mosquitoes, rodents, centipedes, scorpions, termites, & other critters to come in, especially if you leave food out. If you would be upset by seeing critters in your space, then please do not book this yurt. If bugs come in, they will also defecate in the unit. If you see little brown & white poops, these are gecko or lizard poops. Geckos & lizards eat the bugs, so if you see the brown/white poops, that means they are eating the bugs! Some critters also come in and hide as is their nature, like roaches, lizards, geckos, ants, etc. If these critters hide in the furniture, they can get trapped & perish, so you may see deceased critters. Our cleaner does clean the unit prior to each reservation, however, if critters are hiding in the furniture, the cleaners will not be able to find or remove them. Please remember this is a camping nature rental, & critters are part of nature.brbrAdditionally, being essentially a tent, the space is also not weatherproof. In wind or rain events, water can come inside the yurt, especially if you do not completely close all the windows. Also, when it rains, the yard gets muddy. This is a 'nature' camping rental. If you would be upset by getting a little wet & dirty during rainy weather when it gets muddy outside, this may not be the right rental for you. brbrThis country neighborhood also has many dogs & chickens, so please be aware that you will hear dogs & chickens during the day & night. The neighborhood dogs will bark if there is another dog or a suspicious person walking through the neighborhood. Additionally, like all dogs do everywhere, the neighborhood dogs bark & howl every time there is an emergency vehicle siren driving through town. Dogs' hearing is better than humans' so they can hear distant sirens that we cannot hear. If you would be upset by hearing neighborhood dogs barking & howling at ems sirens at night, or roosters crowing from 3 in the morning, then please do not book this yurt.brbrPlease do not bring any animals to this property. There is an outdoor dog on property who lives in the yard who loves people but does not like other dogs. For everyone's safety, please do not bring animals to this property! Our cleaner also uses essential oils for cleaning the inside of the unit which are safe for human beings of all ages, but these essential oils are known to be toxic & fatal to dogs. The entire property including inside of this space and all outdoor areas of the property an unsafe environment for any animals of any kind to come to. brbrYou will need to select the travel insurance when making your reservation to insure your stay & get any type of refund should your travel plans change. The host is unable to provide any refunds in the event that you need to cancel your reservation for any reason. Do not rearrange our furniture or move things to the leak area where they can get wet and therefore damaged. Our cleaner is petite and the heavier furniture items like couches outweigh her. If we have to hire movers to move back the furniture, there will be a minimum $200 moving charge to move back the furniture to where it belongs, and any damages to the yurt or furniture will be charged to you as well.
