Relax inside while still enjoying the ocean breeze and sounds while using our TV, Wi-Fi, and our private outside hot water shower!brbrIf you would like more privacy or quiet time, you should request one or two of the studio cottages, in addition to the main house. This is our personal family home and we will go going on vacation. I love this town so much, that once I got married and started a family, I knew that this is where I wanted to raise my now 4 beautiful children. Laie is known for sites such as the Polynesian Cultural Center, Brigham Young University-Hawaii campus and the Laie LDS Temple (all within 5-10 minute walking from the rental). You just across the street from the iconic Hukilau beach-perfect for body boarding beginners and as well as experts just half a block away. The backdrop of the Ko'olau mountain range with beautiful hikes reaching waterfalls are also viewed from the rental. Order some Hawaiian sweet bread french toast and Portuguese sausage and eggs for breakfast at the famous Hukilau Café just a couple hundred feet from your bedroom. What you might not see in a travel book, is the spirit of love and Aloha thriving here in this small town; you need to visit to understand.

The master suite is the entire upstairs with french doors that open onto a massive lanai enjoy relaxing with these mind blowing ocean views. Halekai’s all new kitchen with new appliances are on the ground floor toward the back with French doors open to the patio and large grass back yard with steps to a secluded deck and then into the water. Impeccably decorated. Every room in the Halekai has a beautiful view. Unlike the crowded busy streets of Waikiki and Honolulu, the property has amazing ocean view and surrounded by jungle covered mountains. This side of the island is much more quiet and less touristy so you can actually enjoy the sounds of the ocean and nature without all the crowds of Waikiki. Still the town of Laie has everything you need, good food and is home to the World Famous Polynesian Cultural Center. The Halekai has all the things you need to enjoy your Hawaiian getaway in comfort.brThis is one of the few north shore beaches where you can play in the water from your back door with kids and still surf the outer reefs on a large swell day . Winter brings high surf to North Shore, but Bath Tub Beach is swimmable year round. This is due to the many reefs that soften & absorb the big waves as they come to shore. The Bath Tub allows for many activities in the safety and shelter of the reef. The bath tub has a sandy bottom and calm clear water so you can learn to paddle, swim and snorkle with out the threat of waves. Or you can just sit on the deck and watch the fish swim by. You will feel close to some of the island's gems while still being able to have your own, private Hawaii experience. Spectacular ocean views for miles out. From your windows, you'll have pocket views of the iconic Hukilau beach--perfect for body- boarding beginners as well as experts--just half a block away. You'll be treated to the backdrop of the Ko'olau mountain range, full of scenic hikes to waterfalls. Take a morning stroll or ride on the nearby paved bike path along historic Gunstock Ranch.
