Nature Lover's Dream Hawai'i

Kealakekua, Hawaii, United States

Aloha and welcome to my precious gem of a home on the Big Island of Hawaii. Its 9 private acres have sweeping views of the ocean, sunset, and moonset and sits perched above the sacred Kealakekua Bay, where wild spinner dolphins love to frequent. brbrNature is vibrant and alive in this haven of privacy, but within a 10 minute drive you can find grocery stores, farmer's markets, world class snorkelling, numerous cafes/restaurants, beautiful beaches and the famous Captain Cook Monument Hike.brbrMy home has 3 full bedrooms, 3 full bathrooms, a beautiful kitchen and dining area, a living room, a family room with TV (Netflix) and three twin floor mattresses for extra sleeping space, and a stunning covered Lanai. The house is 100% solar powered, and all appliances and kitchenware are new and well maintained.brbrThe house is naturally ventilated, and the steady and cool breeze provides ideal temperatures throughout the day and night. Birdsong fills the air from sunrise to sunset, and after sunset the star gazing is spectacular.brbrA manual gate guides you into the property where there is covered parking for two cars. A giant Monkey Pod tree greets you and provides shade for one additional vehicle.brbrMy guests are ideally nature lovers and should understand that part of this home’s magic is that it is on a rural, wild piece of earth, and with such living comes an inevitable fusing of the indoor world and the outdoor world. Geckos are a cute part of Hawaiian life and is not outside the realm of possibility that the occasional, spider, centipede or other insect may make their way indoors. Guests agree to live in such a way that is conscious of this (i.e. keeping screen doors closed, keeping compost/food waste in the freezer, avoiding having open food containers out for a long time, and cleaning up after meals before going to bed each night).brbrMy home is 100% solar powered (hooray for clean energy!) and while the system is robust, guests especially in groups of 4+ agree to be conscious of energy usage while staying. This means opting to air dry towels and beach gear in the sunshine, and using the laundry machines during the daytime. brbrMy landscaper may come during your stay to make sure the land is well cared for. There are also 2 horses and a baby cow who graze in the pasture, just beyond the fence line of the property. brbrInternet: Starlink Internet is provided brbrNo fires in the fireplace. brbrThank you and E komo mai, welcome home! Any questions feel free to ask me @kellyarobinson ❤️
