There is plenty of nature for the children to explore and safe areas for the children to run and play outside.brThe home has 5 bedrooms: 2 Master Suites, one with a king bed, walk-in shower and one with a king bed and shower/tub combo. Another king size and a queen size room. There is a large room with a set of bunk beds and two twin beds. There is a connecting 1/2 bath. If you have additional guests there is a loft area with a queen size pull out sofa bed. brThe kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need to prepare your meals. The house has has 6 flat screen TVs, Wifi, and Netflix and YouTube TV for your enjoyment, no satellite/cable. There is a cover deck area with large hot tub, party lights and bistro set for additional entertainment. There is a fire pit overlooking the lake, please bring your own firewood.brThe house has a wrap around porch to experience the most nature has to offer and both Master Suites walk out to the deck. The other two rooms walk out to a covered patio with a lake view and comfortable chairs to relax in. There is plenty of parking in the driveway and easy boat turn around in the cul de sac. Unlike many properties on Center Hill lake the drive is NOT treacherous. There is a recreation area and boat ramp 1.8 miles from the house and Sligo marina is close by with pontoon boat rentals or boat slips available by the night. There are several hiking trails close by including Burgess Falls (20 minutes), Rock Island State Park (30 minutes) and Fall Creek Falls (50 minutes ) away. There are grocery stores, restaurants and activities 15 minutes away in both Sparta and Smithville. The Sparta House is located in downtown Sparta but with almost an acre right on the Calfkiller River, you'd never know it! It's the best of both worlds. Walk to great coffee shops and pottery studios or fish from the back yard or bird watch from the sun room. There are many amazing waterfalls and superior hiking spots all within a 15 minute drive. Fall Creek Falls, Virgin Falls, Burgess Falls, Rock Island, Sunset Rock, Lost Creek Falls and Cummins Falls are all just a short drive away.brThe spacebrThere are 3 bedrooms all on a one level home right on the Calfkiller River. The sun room looking over the river is the absolute best place for bird watching and has a perfect table to play games. The large kitchen has everything you could possibly need for a big family dinner. The 2 rocking chairs on the porch are great to listen to the water flow over the dam. We also now have a beautiful screened in porch to watch the river.brbrOther fun things in the area - less than 3 miles to Calfkiller Brewery, walking distance to Happy Trails Brewery, a few miles to Sparta Drive in Movie Theater, Caney River is a short drive away for canoeing. We always end up spending most of our time fishing, playing in the river, birdwatching and playing Rummikub!brbrWe provide all the linens you will need. Please use caution and wear a life jacket when swimming. DO NOT swim or boat at the base of the low head dam. You can put a kayak in from the backyard (Use the end away from the dam) but know that there are rocks you'll have to maneuver down to the water. There are several ramps into the water all within a couple of blocks. Ask for locations.brbrAbsolutely no dogs!
