It is the most peaceful part of the lake and teaming with wildlife. There are several good restaurants and bars that are just a boat ride away. There's enough room for 1 boat at the dock, 1 vehicle and your well-behaved pup. We have a beautiful, fully fenced in, secluded acre with a spacious main home and a small guesthouse. We are excited to share our families home with 5 star guests while we travel.brThe Guesthouse-br The guesthouse (has yet to be renovated but is scheduled for fall of 2025) is rented separately from the main house on occasion, so please check availability for the entire property before booking. It is a stand-alone, tiny home with a private deck equipped with its own grill, appliances (no large oven but we provide griddle, toaster, coffee pot, air fryer, toaster oven) and outdoor cooking area, queen sized bed, 2 tvs and small dining area with a full sized refrigerator in the kitchenette. It's perfect for 2 adults.brGuest will have access to the dock and screened in outdoor dining area. brThe fun-brWe have 2 kayaks, a canoe, life vests, some fishing equipment, and a little firewood (for main house guests only) for use at your own risk. brHouse Rules-br The property is not suitable for small children. There are no barriers around the lake or dock. br No smoking inside. Ashtrays are provided. No littering. br We require a 2 night minimum, with discounts for longer stays. br Accessive cleaning requires an extra fee. Guests are required to clean appliances after use, clean and put away dishes they've used, put dirty towels in the hampers, and report any damages. Accessive cleaning fees are to be determined by housekeeping/or owner. Inventory is taken after each guest and we have a zero tolerance policy for theft. brPets are not to be left alone in the home or outside during any part of your stay. Please make necessary arrangements. br All garbage must be taken to the recycle center 2 miles away, as we are to rural for pick up. Failure to do so results in a $25 fee.br Boats must be put it a local ramp before entering the property. River fork boat ramp is about 2 miles away. There is no turn-around once you've entered the property. With 4 bathrooms featuring both showers and bathtubs, guests will have plenty of space to relax and unwind. Nestled in a peaceful setting, this enchanting cabin is the perfect retreat for your next getaway. Step back in time at this almost 100 year old cabin. Built with one bedroom in the 1930's, it's been updated and added onto over the years. We're happy to assist with any questions while you stay at our cabin.brbrProperty Overview:brA split floor plan w/two bedrooms on each end, offers privacy, perfect for families or groups. With ample outdoor space on the porches and two docks, guests can soak in the lake days. One dock is covered with a slip for boats. The coffee machine is a Keurig. A selection of complimentary pods will be available as well as basic paper products, including paper towels, napkins and extra toilet paper.brbrThe primary bedroom has a king bed, a twin daybed and view of the lake. The primary bath has a doorless entry and features a garden tub and stall shower. The closet in this room is reserved for the owner but you'll find ample space to store your clothing in the bathroom linen closet and bureau drawers.brbrAlso, at this end of the house, you'll also find the bunk room, featuring a twin/twin bunkbed and an additional twin bed. The bathroom for this room is across the hall, while the other three bedrooms have a bathroom en suite.brbrWalking back through the kitchen and dining area, you'll pass through a doorway to the great room with log beams a vaulted ceiling and fireplace, part of the originally constructed house. The great room has a sofa and additional seating, a large tree slab coffee table, a television, a ping-pong table, a table for games as well as a selection of board games, puzzles and books.brbrAt the far end of the great room are the other two bedrooms, both with bathrooms en suite. The room closer to the lake has whitewash paneling and two queen beds. This room could be a little tight with four adults so keep this in mind. This room was originally a wraparound porch.brbrWith a view of the lake, the room with dark paneling is the original bedroom of the house. It is the largest bedroom and has a king bed and two twin beds.brbrBack to the public areas, off the kitchen is a large laundry room/pantry (original kitchen). This area contains a full size washer/dryer, a second refrigerator/freezer and an additional sink. There is shelf space, cabinet space and countertop space to store all your food and goods.brbrMoving outside, there is a screen porch off the kitchen. Outdoors we have two docks. One is uncovered with two lounge chairs, a coffee table and surrounding benches built into the railings.brbrThe covered dock has one slip for guest use. Unfortunately the boat lift in this slip may not be used by guests because of the risk of damage to their boat, for which it would need to be properly set up.brbrAdjacent to the guest slip is a large social area with a twin bed swing, chairs and a picnic table. We have a fold down stair ladder that makes it easier to get in and out of the water than a traditional ladder.brbrAlso outside, we have a firepit, perfect for those cool nights in the non-summer months. It's set up specifically for our pontoon boat and we cannot predict whether it could damage the hull of your boat, particularly a V-hull boat.brbrThe owner's pontoon boat and jetkis may be left in the additional dock slips. These slips as well as all boat lifts (including in the guest slip) are strictly off limits.brbrWeight limit for metal entry stairs off the dock is 300 pounds. No horseplay as these stairs are known to break with excessive weight or forces.brbrPlease keep all kayaks, paddles and PFD/life jackets tethered, as well as your personal belongings tethered to the dock, as wind storms come up occasionally.brbrYour safety is our biggest concern. All SC laws must be followed. As laws can change periodically, guests are advised to confirm SC laws, specifically those regarding use of Personal Flotation Devices (PFD, aka life jackets) and whistles on non-motorized watercraft. Please see the South Carolina DNR /boating site for current laws and regulations. As required by law, whistles are provided for all of of our non-motorized watercraft. Small portions of the house, such as the owners closet, the area under the deck, contain personal items, are not for guests and are designated as such. Guests will not have access to the unfinished basement.brbrThere is an unused gun safe built in to the house. This remains locked for your safety but does not contain any guns or weapons.brbrPlease use cutting boards in the kitchen. Do not cut on the countertops!brbrSolid towels are for indoor use only. Any striped beach towels are more durable and may be used indoors or out.brbrPets may not be left indoors unaccompanied unless crated.brbrPlease be courteous of the neighbors and mindful of noise. The houses are pretty far apart and it hasn't been a problem but we don't want to cause any disruption to them.brbrOur security cameras are only outdoors. We have one in the driveway, one at the front door, and one on the far end of the dock, away from the guest slip and social area, so as to monitor our watercraft. We have never had a security issue. Welcome to our sweet lake retreat! Brand new listing! Relax with the whole family in our peaceful lakefront home. This is a newer construction home with custom upgrades and room to sleep up to 14. This is in the BEST location on Lake Greenwood! We are located on the main water right across from Twin Rivers Landing which is a great place to rent a boat for the day. If you are bringing your own boat the closest ramp is 2.8 miles away at Riverfork Boat Ramp. We are right around the corner from Harris Landing which is a local dive that has excellent food and delicious drinks at their Tiki bar. Break on the Lake is another popular spot and just a short drive or boat ride away as well. Lake Greenwood’s famous “sandbar” is also very close to the house and a fun place to drop the anchor and hang out in waist deep water. Lake Greenwood is a great fishing lake and is known for its largemouth bass, channel catfish, and striped bass. The house has two king bedrooms, one queen room, double/full bunk, and single over full bunk with a twin trundle (so the kid’s room can easily sleep 8 kids or several adults!) We are surrounded by woods across the street and to the right of the house so there are plenty of deer, birds, and even a beautiful red fox that likes to prance around the yard at times! The main bathroom is so dreamy! Huge walk in shower and a washer and dryer.brThere are 3 dining areas. The space inside has a cabinet full of games and a huge seating area, surrounded by loads of pillows and overlooking the lake. Dining area number 2 is outside under the pavilion. The table seats 8 comfortably and has all of the amenities of chef's kitchen. Dining number 3 is closest to the lake and screened in for those buggy nights.brThe firepit is wonderful for making s'mores and sitting by the water. We provide a little firewood for our main house guests. brThe dock is 120' long and has room for several large boats. Access to kayaks and a canoe and an easy place to get them in the water. There is a water volleyball court and a small pavilion on the dock. A perfect place to have your morning coffee!brWe are huge dog fans and welcome well-behaved pups. For their safety, we have provided a two door kennel in the main house.brThe guesthouse is the cutest little place! It may be small but it has everything you'll need. It gets a lot of visitors! It has a brand new queen size bed with hotel quality bedding, a full bath and a small kitchenette with a full sized refrigerator, a private deck with an out door cooking space that includes a grill and dining space. Even though it's small, we provide lots of cooking options. There is a microwave, large grill with a side burner, tabletop oven, extra side burners and plenty of dishes. It is also equipped with 2 tvs, cable, internet, games and starlink. It's perfect for 2!brbrWe live a few minutes away but do not disturb your stay.
