If you need it, I think we have it covered; as we tried to stock this property with everything someone would need during their stay. brOur cabin come with a fully stocked kitchen. With stainless steel appliances, ice machine, Fridge, Oven, Dishwater; not to mention cookware, utensils, and serving ware for 24 guest! We also have additional items tucked away such as: Blender, Table Top Griddle, Chopper, Crockpot, ect). You will find this kitchen has plenty of natural light, as the windows across the front of the cabin, allows those inside access to the beautiful scenery. Highlife Ridge offers seating for 12; which includes a long industrial table to seat 6-8 guest and bar top with 4 bar stools. If you still don't have enough seating... If you find yourself needing additional seating, we have you covered, step outside and there you will find a large deck which offers additional seating for guest on either the outside furniture or additional chairs that can be moved inside!!!brbrHighlife Ridge offers 4 bedrooms ( 2 King bedrooms and 2 Queen bedrooms). All rooms offer a Jack and Jill style bathroom. The vanity for the King room is accessible from both rooms with a locked door to both the restroom and shower, so that each guest room offers its own privacy. The Jack & Jill bathroom between the Queen bedrooms is directly across the hall from the rooms; and it offers locked doors, for the guest privacy as well. brDon't stop there....Take a peek behind the farm door and there you will find a bunk-room that sleeps 4, tucked away right off the kitchen and living area!!brNow climb up the ladder and you will find a large Bonus/loft room; this room can be fun for all ages. Equipped with a 55 TV and Pool table, this is where the kids love to get away from the adults and run and play. brbrLastly, previous guest have mentioned THIS IS MY FAVORITE SPOT when speaking of the outside deck. Our cabin is elevated 16ft; therefore guest are able to enjoy the beautiful scenery around them. With river literally feet from access; you will find the calmness and peace while the sound of the river is rippling in the background. brThe deck offers a large area to gather for guest to gather; but even better; it's a best place to watch those floating by; especially for guest that cant or dont like to be in the sun all day. Our cabin also offers a lower level deck; which some guest use for sunbathing! Want to listen to music while your outside on the deck or hanging by the river... NO worries, We have your covered. brThis stereo system features 2 zones; which allows guest inside to watch TV or listen to music, while the other guest listen to their music outside without any interruptions between the 2.

So, shack up at the River Shack for a few nights and discover how Shacktastic this spot on the Caddo River really is! brbrThe Caddo River is a popular kayaking and tubing river in Arkansas. In the summer, you will enjoy watching groups of people float past in the afternoon! It gets especially busy on weekends and holidays in the summer. However, weekdays and off-season days are much quieter. From October to March, you will rarely see anyone else on the river and can enjoy the water by yourselves. March through May is mostly just weekend floaters.brbrAdditional notes on seclusion: This is the only rental on the 2-acre property. There are only two neighbors in the area, and they are separated by a lot of trees so your part of the river will feel secluded and private. There is a clean ranch across the paved road that hosts beautiful Brahmas. There is no development across the river giving you more shoreline and woods to explore. You may hear a lumber processing plant across the river in the distance through the trees and occasionally kayakers will treat you to their favorite tunes as they float by. The river is usually very quiet, allowing you to be alone on the water most days between September and May. However, weekends, holidays, and warm summer days sometimes bring a lot of tubers and kayakers to the water during the day. It's usually quiet again in the evenings even on summer days.brbrLocation: The Shack is only 2 miles from Glenwood on a paved road.
