Enjoy the many year-round outdoor activities. Relax on the deck overlooking the Iron River or in the cozy living room with friends and family. Downtown Iron River is a short walk or ride away (.5 miles).brbrLake Superior, Pike Chain if Lakes, Apostle Islands, Duluth, Spirit Mountain, Bayfield and Ashland are other popular destinations.brbrThis area is know for a wide range of outdoor activities. Miles and miles of ATV and Snowmobile trails, hunting and fishing, ice fishing, boating, kayaking and canoeing down Brule river, biking, hiking and much more!brbrWhen you arrive there is parking in front of the house as well as space next to the garage for trailers and toys. When you enter the main floor the living room is on the right flowing into the dining room. There is an electric fireplace, TV and sofa bed in the living room. The full kitchen includes an electric stove and oven, refrigerator, microwave and dishwasher. The patio door leads to a large deck overlooking the river. Outdoor seating and grill make it a perfect spot for a summer cookout, a relaxing place to unwind or have your morning coffee. The master bedroom is on the main floor with a King bed and patio door to the deck. The main floor bathroom has a toilet, sink and bathtub.brUpstairs are two more bedrooms, both with queen beds. The upstairs bathroom has a toilet, sink and shower.brWalk down the path to the river where there is a small bridge and plenty of shallow areas for the kids to play and swim. Enjoy floating in a tube down the river from the bridge to the house.brYou will often see deer, birds and other wildlife on the property.

It features a fully equipped kitchen, and the separate dining area is a great space for card games, puzzles, wildlife viewing, and enjoying the catch of the day. The living room adjoins the kitchen, creating a nice open space. Bedroom 1 has a Queen bed and Bedroom 2 has 2 twin beds. Outside is a fire pit by the lake for s'more fun on starry nights plus outdoor patio furniture to relax on those sunny afternoons.brWhen you are sitting on the dock it will not take you long to appreciate this quiet setting. McCarry Lake is a 32-acre lake. It has a maximum depth of 21 feet. Fish include Musky, Panfish, Largemouth Bass, Smallmouth Bass, Northern Pike and Walleye.brBring your own paddleboard, kayak, or canoe to paddle around this tranquil lake. There is no public landing on McCarry Lake and the Pike Chain of Lakes is not accessible from McCarry Lake. brIf you want to explore the Pike Chain, pontoons are available for rent at Buskey Bay Resort at 715-372-4580.brLocated in the Chequamegon National Forest, and less than an hour from Bayfield and the Apostle Islands to the east. Duluth, MN is about an hour to the west, for a fun day trip to Canal Park. There are some fantastic hiking spots nearby at Amicon Falls, about a half-hour from the cabin. The kitchen has all new countertops, but is also sprinkled with vintage items that gives the cottage a homey feel. On a 13-cabin property in the heart of Chequamegon (Shah-wa-me-gone) National Forest. brbrCabin #11 is a lakeside 3-bedroom with loft at Delta Lodge (12 cabin property).brThree bedrooms and a loft - because the loft functions as a fourth bedroom, the cabin is rated for up to 8 persons. There is one queen and 4 twins in 3 bedrooms on the main level; 2 twins in the open loft. There are 1.5 bathrooms and a washer/dryer. All the cabins have a kitchen, living room and screened porch. There is a deck for grilling and a campfire pit - we provide the fire wood.brbrA row boat is included with the cabin rental for your exclusive use. Small hp motors are available for rent (no-wake lake). There are 9 kayaks and a canoe which guests share.
