The gun room offers a library like seating room for a quiet reprieve, additionally, a small office with a half bath is hidden behind the main stairwell. This can also be converted into an additional nanny suite if needed. A great room with a 4 ft fireplace welcomes gatherings with two separate seating areas and a card table for games. A large dining room is centered on this floor with spectacular views and enough seating for 12. This can also be accessed off the butler's pantry for ease of entertaining. The heart of this house is the large, sun filled live-in kitchen which is where families gather around the island which seat 4, the additional lounge seating in the center or another grand 10 person table. The kitchen has a separate stairwell leading to the top floor. Also, off the kitchen is a media/playroom with a pull-out couch, toy box and a place for the younger generation to relax. A full bathroom is accessed right outside of this room making it another convertible queen bedroom. brbrAs you make your way to the true front of the house facing the river you find a spectacular screened in porch with ample seating, ping pong, pool, and breathtaking views. This is where most people find themselves spending their time at the Farm. The sunsets on this porch compete with the best in the world.br brOn the top floor there are 2 master suites both with King beds and water views making it easy for 2 families to share time at this home. A queen en suite bedroom overlooks the barn and horses and a double en suit room overlooks the fields. There are 2 additional rooms with 2x twin beds that share full bathroom. A dressing room/linen room can also be converted into a nursery - pack n' play/crib are available. brbrBehind the owner's only studio house is a large outdoor living area with a huge pool, brick patio, tiki hut style bar, hammock, children's play structure, volleyball net and sports court. This is where you can spends hours of your day while everyone is fully entertained. This is a big house with a lot of windows, glass doors, and skylights that let an abundance of light in. Combine that, with a lighthouse theme, we thought the name Light House was appropriate! Bring the whole family to this great place with lots of room for fun. Play pool, ping pong, foosball, air hockey, or walk to the beach just a block away. Disclosures: Pool table is rough; good for playing around not serious players. House has character; some may not find some characteristics to their liking. Previous owners used an orange yellow paint in some areas, some sink faucet handles turn opposite from normal, some light switches are in unexpected places. The great room has high vaulted ceilings with skylights; our turnover cleanings between guests does not include cleaning these high areas as a high ladder is required. Rather, they are cleaned less frequently. Spider webs and dust in these areas may develop and become visible between these less frequent more detailed cleanings.

They like warm, salty waters so their numbers vary with the rain and tides. Sometimes, there aren’t many jellyfish, depending on time of day or current, but other times there are a lot. And if it has recently rained, they get pushed out to sea and there are none. It is out of our control and really luck of the draw. The living room has a 55 inch smart TV, couch, two chairs, pellet stove. The fully stocked kitchen has spices, cookware, fiesta-ware dishes, dishwasher and offers a 4 chair seating dining table. There is a washer/dryer combo (all in one- it washes and dries in the same machine) available, please note: a wash/dry cycle will take 3-4 hours total. Laundry detergent is not provided. The two primary suites on opposite ends of the house offer guests privacy during their stay. The kitchen, dining table and living area are an open concept, where families can enjoy quality time, surrounded by a fireplace, large TV, and lots of natural light! If you need some time to get work done, there is a private office and free WiFi throughout the house. Downstairs you will find a game room with a shuffleboard and foosball table. The large back deck is the perfect place to sip on your morning coffee while listening to the sounds of nature. The Mackall house is located just 0.3 miles from Jefferson Patterson Park, which features nature trails, kayak launching, tours, and many special events throughout the year. Running Hare winery is about 20 minutes away, and the Perigeaux Vineyard is less than 2 miles away! Cage stables and Rose Farm stables are just right down the street. If you are looking to go into the city, Washington DC and Annapolis are just about an hour away! Historic Solomon's Island is a quick 20 minute drive, and there you can walk the boardwalk and grab dinner at one of the many amazing restaurants, or catch a special event at the famous Calvert Marine Museum. Vera's White Sands Beachclub is 9 miles away, and there you can enjoy the tiki bar, live music events, and great seafood.

The expansive bay view stretches about seven miles across to Taylors Island on the eastern shore of the Chesapeake Bay. The water remains shallow to 60 ft out with small waves - great for kids. We have spectacular sunrises. Enjoy rooftop yoga, fishing from the shore or jetty, beach fires, and a 5 minute beach walk to the Flag Harbor Yacht Haven -- a great place to explore. You'll see ships traveling between the Baltimore Harbor and the Atlantic Ocean, and you'll spot plenty of wildlife, including herons, eagles, hawks, and egrets. Bring along a kite for windy days!brbrDescend the steps from our front yard to a mile of sandy beach. On the backside of the property, you will find a private entrance to the beach where we keep the kayaks and rowboat. You'll also find an exterior closet with chairs, sand toys, personal flotation devices, and oars. You'll also find a large Breezeway Bench overlooking the ravine and stream where the water flows from the village down to the bay. Where the stream flows onto the beach is a fun spot for making sand castles. We love to lap swim when the conditions are right, so bring along your goggles!brbrOur ground floor mother-in-law suite with beach and bay views includes a king-size bed; private full bathroom with walk-in shower, heated floors and marble vanity; and kitchenette with sink, mini fridge, microwave and Keurig The ground floor of the main house features a half bathroom; the sun room with mini refrigerator, and French doors to access the yard overlooking the bay; living room with two granite desks that overlook the bay flanking a non-working fireplace, 55 smart (Roku device) with surround sound; the well-stocked kitchen with drip coffee maker, microwave, toaster oven, plenty of spices and utensils; and dining room.brbrUpstairs, we have two large bedrooms (both with king-size beds) and a shared full bathroom. Both upstairs bedrooms have their own sinks, and the north-facing bedroom also has its own commode (a half bath). Both bedrooms have access to the rooftop patio. Bring along yoga mats for your sunrise practice!brbrOur main kitchen is fully equipped for preparing meals. We have a gas grill and a double crab cooker in front of our detached garage. You can buy locally-caught crabs from 'Chesapeake's Bounty' farmer's market in our village where they also sell fresh, local produce and other seasonal fish.
