Centrally located a short 10 minute walk to town. The 1930 home has been totally remodeled but has kept the luster of its era with the original hardwood floors and built in linen pantry. The bathroom has in floor heated tile and a large shower stall. The rooms are tastefully decorated with the original wood floors. With a million dollar view of the Tongass Narrows you can watch cruise ships anchor, fishing boats transit and eagles hover overhead while you enjoy your morning coffee or evening drink watching the sunset. The kitchenette has a sink, mini refer, coffee maker, microwave, toaster and all the utensils and serving dishes needed for your use. Because of insurance regulations there is not a stove. The rates are for one room with 2 persons. You can rent the other two rooms for a rate of $35 per each additional guest ages 6 years and older, per night. Children 5 and younger ate $25per night. This is NOT a shared space. In other words once you make your reservation the other 2 rooms are blocked off, unless of course you reserve them, so that just you and your guest have the total area to yourselfs. This is a two story home, I live on the bottom floor and your area is the upstairs. You do have a private entrance with a cipher pad with your personal code so that you can enter or exit as you please. For your convenience you'll have access to a washer and dryer with laundry soap, bleach etc and an ironing board and iron. A hair dryer is available too. Why stay in a hotel when you can stay at a place that you'll fell like your home away from home with one of the best views in town. Two rooms have queen beds and the third room has a bunk bed with a full mattress (slightly smaller than a queen), on bottom and a single mattress on top.

This can be purchased in Ketchikan after arrival before coming out to the Marina. We recommend you shop at the Alaskan and Proud Grocery Store, which is a few minutes by Taxi from the Airport (or a short walk). Ketchikan also has a selection of good sporting stores if any additional fishing or hiking gear is needed.brbrWe do provide all cooking pots, pans, utensils, and basics such as cooking oil, tea, coffee; sugar, salt.brbrFlight Arrival/Departure times.brbrArrival: We recommend guests arrive in Ketchikan late morning / early afternoon which will give a few hours for shopping, before taking the taxi out to Knudson Cove Marina. We will pick you up any time from noon onwards when you have finished your shopping and transport you out to your vacation yurts.brbrDeparture: We recommend departing from Ketchikan late morning/early afternoon and we will get you back to the road / Knudson Cove Marina by 09:00 hrs on the day of your departure. If you are on a later flight, you are free to enjoy the yurts a little longer and check out around 1.00pm.brbrPlease note, due to the risk of occasional early morning fog, we cannot guarantee getting you back to the road in time for the very first flight out of Ketchikan. If you have no choice, and can only depart on the first flight we recommend that you stay in town the evening before your departure from Ketchikan. AT&T has limited coverage at the cabin, though WiFi calling would be available.brbrFish & Trash: For your safety and to limit interactions with wildlife, absolutely no trash or food is to be left unattended outside. There is an on-site trash shed available for guests. Similarly, any caught fish must be processed off-site either at a table by the boat launch or through using the local fish processor.brbrWater: Like much of Ketchikan, water on site is collected rainwater. It is filtered and safe to consume. We ask, especially when there are multiple days of dry weather, that water be conserved.

Captain Morgan's is a large two bedroom vacation rental is on the upper floor of a waterfront duplex. It is very roomy with over 1,500 sq ft of living space. The master bedroom has a queen-size bed, walk-in closet and a private master bathroom with a large 2 person walk-in shower. The second bedroom is spacious, has vaulted ceilings and a queen size bed. The main bathroom is across the hall from the second bedroom and it has a tub/shower combination. There is also a small den that has a twin bed in it.br Large picture windows wrap around the master bedroom, living room & dining room area framing an amazing ocean view. It has a large open galley type kitchen fit for a chef. brbrOne of the nicest features of this house is the enclosed deck with glass railings for a total unobstructed view of the ocean. The deck has comfortable seating and a gas barbeque.brbrThe location is perfect! It is only 4 miles from downtown, 3 miles to Herring Cove, 1 mile to rotary beach and a quick walk to Mountain Point where you will find some of the best shoreline fishing in Ketchikan. A 5 mile long bike/walking trail runs in front of the house.brbrOn the lower level of this duplex is another vacation rentals called the Admiral Beach House. It also have two bedrooms.
