The home is located on a point with views to the south of famous Cave Point.brbrThis new home has a large master bedroom and master bath on the main floor with walk in tile shower. There is a great room centered in the home with 18' tall masonry fireplace. A 60 flatscreen LED TV with Dish TV is all set to watch your favorite shows. All floors on the main floor are wood or tile.brbrThe kitchen is very roomy with Wolf range, 2 refrigerators, dishwasher, cherry cabinetry. All countertops in the home are granite.brbrWe have just installed Premier One UV Air purifier system to the HVAC system. It is a germicidal air purifier that uses ultra violet light. Our cleaning company is using CDC cleaning guidelines on every cleaning. We are washing all bedding between stays and are NOT suppling towels at this time. Guests need to bring their own towels. We want you to be able to relax on your visit.brbrYou will find yourself very relaxed and comfortable.brbrThere is a change in VRBO tax collection procedure. VRBO includes tax for state and county taxes on your quote, but the local room tax is billed after the booking. Door County's local room tax is 5 1/2%.brbrThe location is perfect. You are 10 to 15 minutes to just about anything you want to do, but you are in a quite peaceful setting. I grew up in Door County and chose this location to build our dream home. I like to be relaxed without hearing a busy highway, traffic and lots of people when I get home. You will love the location.brbrIf you like to hike there is a nature preserve that boarders our driveway. It has a great path that goes through the woods and along a creek that runs from Kangaroo Lake to Lake Michigan. You can also take long walks down the beach, but with the water level rising the beach is getting smaller and you may need to get your feet wet in places.brbrUpstairs are 3 more bedrooms and a large rec-room with ping pong table.brbrPatios are bluestone and there is a large fire pit overlooking the water. Sit around the fire at night and share stories under the starry skies.brbrI have family that live 2 minutes away should you need help with anything.brbrIt is hard to find a home of this caliber with such privacy and breath taking views. The wall of windows and skylights bring Door County's natural beauty to the home.brThrough a pair French doors, just off the entry way, you go into the library, with a magnificent bookcase and comfortable furniture that offers a quiet retreat. There is a media room that is perfect for games, conversation or just relaxing with family and friends. brAcross the hall from the library is the powder room and laundry with a full size washer and dryer.brThe split floor plan is designed with the master suite on the first floor.
