Our beautiful, 2-bedroom cabin is spacious and well appointed. Includes: pool table (bring your own pool sticks), a Foosball table, 4 electric recliners, 2 leather recliners, a large screen TV with surround sound and high speed WIFI. Enjoy the oak dining table for 6 guests, plus, additional tables for 6. There is a new stainless-steel kitchen Hi- Tech style. It is considered a compact kitchen with a deep single sink, refrigerator, electric range, microwave, coffee maker, cookware and so much more. Please note: The kitchen is for 1 or 2 chefs at a time. It is considered compact. All dishes will be washed by hand, no dishwasher, no garbage disposal, no washer/dryer is available. Host suggests that you bring paper goods, such as plates, cups, so that you will have an easier clean-up. Otherwise, there are plenty of dishes. For your outdoor experience we just built a large deck for picnicking and propane barbecue. Free off-street parking at the lower entrance for 3 vehicles . Host can make additional parking available for ATV's and trailers. Please message the host if you need this additional parking.brThis cabin backs up to the Lincoln National Forest. Simply walk around to the side of the house, and step into the cool pines. We have wildlife right up to the back yard. Likely, you will see elk, deer, wild horses, small critters and bats. Please keep the doors and windows closed . IMPORTANT: You are renting the lower floor of a 2-story home. The upper floor of the home is not included when renting the High End Luxury Cabin. You may rent the entire home under the name of the Woodlands Chalet, for up to 17 guests. For your privacy and security, the staircase is locked from the upper floor. We do have exterior cameras, motion activated. The entire home upper and lower levels have exterior cameras for the safety of our clients. (motion, video, recording) We do not rent the upper floor when we have guests in the lower cabin. Please remember, there are NO PETS allowed on the property or in the cabin or kept in your vehicle. One short nap on this bed will make you want to go to bed early and sleep in late. All bed linens are provided and all are line-dried in fresh air and sunshine, and then pressed. brbrFawn Passage features a well-stocked kitchen, that's ready to cook in or just to enjoy a cup of coffee or tea. It includes a full size stove and refrigerator, microwave, toaster oven, toaster, and coffee pot, and is fully stocked with new dishes, cookware and crock pots, as well as a gas grill on the deck. We provide you with filtered water, fresh ground Organic Ruta Maya coffee, fresh ground decaf, hot cocoa, hot apple cider, specialty teas, Krusteaz pancake mix, Log Cabin syrup, and a variety of instant oatmeal. We make it easy for you to prepare delicious meals with a well stocked spice cabinet. The kitchen is surrounded by windows, so it's light and airy and offers an excellent view of the wildlife. We provide so many extras at no extra charge, that it's like coming to your own home away from home. If you need it, we probably provide it. brbrIn the bathroom (downstairs), we pamper you with with quality handmade soap and lotion from Thymeless Bath, as well as shampoo, conditioner, a blow dryer and flat iron.brbrYou can relax and unwind inside or out. Our living area includes large comfortable furniture to curl up in and watch a movie, read, snuggle or just take a nap. The woodburner is ready to use, with all the wood provided for you at no extra charge. When it's cold outside, there's nothing more relaxing than curling up on the couch and watching the flames flicker. In the cold months, there are two heaters in the living room, in case you don't want to make a fire.brbrThe covered deck provides the perfect spot to cook steaks on the grill or just sit and watch the hummingbirds. If you pay attention, you might see deer, turkey, rabbits, blue jays, porcupines, elk or a bear. brbrAt Fawn Passage, the summer daytime highs can be anywhere from 50 to 80 degrees with the overnight lows around 45 to 60, so bring a sweater or light jacket. Winter daytime highs can range from 20 to 50, with overnight lows very cold, so you'll definitely need a warm jacket! In winter months (Dec-Jan), we recommend 4WD or chains. You can usually get up our driveway without them, but 4WD makes it much easier, if there is snow. I always have people ask if they need 4WD or can they get here without it. 90% of the time you can, but there's always that 10% chance. You'll have to decide if it's necessary. brbrFawn Passage is not a hunter's lodge and while we do host the occasional hunter, you will be required to take extra care that most hunters are not willing to do. We have white towels and bedding, as well as light colored carpeting. No field dressing deer or elk allowed on the property.

Our neighborhood has gravity-fed water to the cabins. We have a pressure pump in the owner's closet to obtain better water pressure. You will hear this go off when showering or flushing the toilets. We have a whole-house water softener that recharges each Sunday afternoon for 2 hours. You will hear the water pump off and on during this process. To preserve our sensitive septic system, please only put toilet paper into the toilets. brbrWe highly recommend having a 4WD/AWD vehicle in the winter. The county roads are maintained and plowed based on a schedule beyond our control.brbrThere's a snow shovel on the porch for your use in case of snow, but please remember to put it back after using it.brbrWe're located within the Lincoln National Forest, so smoking or vaping is strictly prohibited anywhere on the property. If you are looking for a quiet getaway to experience nature at its best this cozy two bedroom, 1 1/2 bath is perfect for your get away to the mountains. A short 10 minute drive to Cloudcroft will let you experience downtown shopping and some amazing bar-b-que or burgers! brOn the main floor is a large family room with a comfy sectional and plenty of extra seating, fireplace, dining area, cute, well stocked kitchen and a large master bedroom with a rustic, hand crafted, king size log bed. Upstairs is a loft with a full size bed which kids will love. Downstairs are three extra full size beds, and a half bath. An exterior door allows for easy access. Beautiful new deck with patio furniture and grill is perfect for experiencing the outdoors while you dine. The national forest is right outside the front door and allows instant hours of hiking. Wildlife abounds in this area and is often seen right out the kitchen or bedroom windows. Our cabin includes wireless wifi, two roku tvs, lots of board games, puzzles and books. Please note .. as with most cabins in these areas, there are steep stairs to the loft and also to the downstairs bunk room, which is where the extra beds are. Just fyi- in case youre unable to handle stairs. Also FYI..We have outdoor security cameras for our use to keep an eye on our property.
