Sunset Cottage

I made the mistake when I was reserving my time to stay and not asking if the condo was on the second floor or the first floor and I really needed a first floor one so next year I’ll be asking that to make sure I don’t have to go up and downstairs like I had to this year. Had trouble with the Internet the first day and a half. I was there, but the owner was able to get that straightened out for me. Other than this, everything was wonderful.

This condo has one previous review in May which is very similar to what I am about to say which makes me wonder if anyone cleaned it between the last stay and my stay. The bag of salt and wreath were still on the ground in front of the front door when I arrived. The back deck has a dirty mini refrigerator/grill and other maintenance items strewn about. The biggest thing- the slider doors to the back patio have a broken handle and do not lock- completely not secure. I addressed this in a msg and there was absolutely no concern. I swept the front and back deck of debris. Popcorn in drawers in kitchen. If you take a shower, expect to be standing in two inches of water. There is an obvious drain issue. Refrigerator leaks. No information or binder about the area although the information states this is on site. Stove and stove top are filthy. As per last review- modem cords everywhere and no instructions to setup wifi. I will say, the wifi is good once it is setup. Strong signal. One washcloth found. Only given 2 regular coffee pods, the rest were no-caf. ugh. Communication was met with ridiculous excuses- but quickly. I could go on, but I think you get the point. Looks cute- dirty, broken and poor maintenance. AND NOT SPRING CLEANED.

Pulling up. the tall weeds, half painted half repaired stairs, neglected and run down property as a whole! No actual property manager for the grounds and it shows. The studio below has 4 Very large dogs and it REAKED of urine and feces inside and out! It was a 7hour car ride so the men stayed but i would not! ! The Junked.up entryway, half a bag of rock salt to keep the porch from freezing May, 2025 with a dirty and faded door wreath laying on it. Keurig cups scattered in cabinet, laundry room had whole tub of trash and lint. Router and wires in corner of floor, mangled and messy! For the trail riders,, the city trails.were as bad! Unmanaged, washed out and not much to look at. Better off taking a car and driving any other roads! Besides all that, it was a great time!)
